
PERKATA (Sarawak Association for the Welfare of Intellectually disabled children) is an NGO (non government organisation) that caters to children with special needs. The school, founded in 1972, has been a, pillar of the community, a renowned institution in Kuching that caters to the unique needs of children with conditions such as Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and other learning disabilities. The school focuses on holistic development, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and a tailored curricul1um that promotes their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
